Samhain Journaling Tips

Intentions:

What will you gain from journaling during this transition time?

Journal:

Choose a unique journal or use an online program if you prefer to type.

Space:

You can journal in your sacred space or wherever you find it peaceful and inspiring. You can include items such as candles, incense, crystals, or pictures/symbols that represent your beliefs or the New Year.

Reflect:

What have you learned, overcome, or accomplished during the past year?

Resolutions:

A lot of folks despise resolutions. So you can call it whatever you wish. But it can be nice to take some time to write down goals, plans, and intentions for the New Year.

Prompts:

If you get stuck there are amazing writing prompts that you can find all over the internet.

Gratitude:

I'll never stop reminding you to take time out to be grateful. What are you thankful for from this past year and what do you hope to obtain in the new one?

Spells:

You could document or journal about the spells or divination that you do around Samhain.

Authentic:

Write from your heart. This is your safe place, so be honest with yourself.
